On tap at the brewery. Poured into a pilsner type glass. Appearance is a light copper color with a full finger of head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is that of toasted malt and slightly bready, but didn't notice the pretzel of mustard seed. The flavor has light caramel notes and seems to get sweeter as it warms. Carbonation is light, with a slight dry finish.
Overall, not a bad tasting beer.

On tap at the source.
Bready malt aroma with light mustard and pretzel on the nose. Medium body with a slight bit more of mustard and pretzel coming through on the palate while finishing nicely balanced.
It's an odd one but that's what I appreciate most about this beer. Nicely done!

Brewer states that this is a bock brewed with "pretzels, mustard seed and salt."
Pours a light copper color with a full finger of head. The nose has notes of toasted malt. The flavor has light caramel notes upfront and actually gets sweeter on the back end. By the finish, there are notes of maple syrup faintly evident. The body is not quite as hefty as I'd like for the style but it remains sufficiently hearty.
