The annual Spring Bock is probably my favorite offering from this brewery. This year, the abv was elevated to 8% with some slight deleterious effects.
Previous years, this has clocked in around 7-7.5%. The 8% proves to be a bit too hot particularly in the flavor profile and seems to detract from the heartiness. The finish also comes off as a touch cidery.
All-in-all, this is still a superb effort and I remain stoked for the 2026 release.
