330ml bottle from brewpub in Berlin (€5):
This one was another pretty nice beer from Lemke, it opened as quite a complex offering with a solid combination of darker fruits & malts coming through that were backed up with a subtle alcohol taste but thankfully not a lot. There was some caramel sweetness & touches of vanilla in there too, some oak not far behind which all worked well together & gave the beer a nice balance. It was a pleasant one to sip away at with the smooth body & variety of flavours helping this considerably; great stuff.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Dark brown with a tan head. Notes of coffee, roasted malts, tons of cherries, chocolate and cocoa.

Had this beer last week in Brauhaus Lemke (the brewery's restaurant) at Dircksenstraße 143, Berlin.
Very dark-colored, it gives the first impression of a dry stout, but where a bitter taste is expected, a sweet taste reminiscent of caramel is found. It has a nice, sweet smell as well, but nothing to write home about.
Being served with a nice head of foam, and going down smoothly and lightly, it's definitely the best of the beers currently on tap in the restaurant.
