500ml on keg at Brauhaus Lemke am Alex, Berlin (€5.60):
Quite a nice weizenbock & very enjoyable, it's not often I get to try this style of beer but I really should more often if they taste this good. The beer opened with a nice combination of citrus flavours & bread malts but it was the banana & the subsequent sweetness that helped steal the show. It seemed very slightly more hoppy that some other wheat beers I've had recently & there was even hints of bitterness nearer the end but the balance was quite a good one & it proved very easy to drink as well; nice stuff & one well worth looking out for if you find yourself in Berlin at any point.
