Okay, I’m big time biased, the server gave me two glasses—one for the beer and another with a single scoop of ice cream. I’ll admit that the Beer Float isn’t my cup of tea; however, this review is influenced by this kind gesture.
Small beige head that evaporated quickly and leaves no lace at all. The liquid is ruby black and no light shines through.
Super boozy aroma with cherry notes and brandy.
Oily and dark, the booze is strong but also similar to chocolate covered cherries (with no sweetness!). Rich body with a limited amount of carbonation. Rich finish and a longer aftertaste for this style of beer. This is a sipping beer, best enjoyed in winter in front of a fire. And, being outside on a warm spring day, it’s still pretty awesome.
