350 ml bottle purchased at the brewery, consumed the next day...
Deep, dark brown where no light passes. Small beige head which leaves a few small streaks and spots on the glass.
Boozy and chocolatey nose. Lots of brandy-like aromas.
Lots of brown sugar and graham cracker on the initial taste. There's also a light nuttiness reminiscent of hazelnuts. The booze remains strong (at 14% ABV, no surprise). The body is thick and oily while the carbonation is nearly nonexistent. The finish is very cocoa-like, semisweet providing a lingering aftertaste. The swallow is warming.
