!6oz can (dated 5/24/22) poured into 16oz Willi Becher). 1st beer post Covid. Poured a lightly cloudy straw yellow color with a half-inch of white head that had moderate retention and almost no lacing.
The aroma was fairly typical for the style, solid base grains, some floral hops, and a basic "beer' aroma.
Similar on the tongue, just a solid beeriness.
The body was maybe a touch fuller than preferred for the style, smooth, and had a medium finish.
Drinkability was good, an easy quaffer.
Overall, a solid, but not really notable, take on the style. worth a shot if you see it.

Poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of biscuit and pilsner malt, grassy hops, whole grain crackers; spicy. Flavor follows, with biscuity and bready pilsner malt, grassy noble hops, whole grain, husky crackers, hay, a touch of lemon. Solid hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with silky moderate creaminess, pleasant mouth feel, particularly for a pilsner. This is a very nicely brewed German style pilsner, hitting all the expected character of hops and malt. Perhaps a little more grainy malt flavor and a more substantial mouth feel than traditional. Both worked quite nicely for my palette; I've somewhat drifted away from pilsners, but this could bring me back; I'd be happy with this any time. Nice intro to the brewery.
