Light haze to the dirty gold color. A smaller head that leaves only a smattering of spots for lace.
The smell starts off grassy. There is an off-odor of decaying vegetables. I can pick up some of the pale barley malts. The hop is subtle and floral.
The flavor is a step up--it features a much stronger hop presence. The pale malt is more neutral without any of the negative aspects of the smell. Predictable body and carbonation for an APA. The finish is crisp and predominantly bitter. There's a lingering aftertaste.
