The pour empties a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass. Its color is orange-amber with little head and no glass lacing. The aroma is a little citrusy and a little skunky, in that European lager way. The skunkiness dissappears with the taste, but unfortunately it leaves only a thin and one-dimensional level of citrusy hops. Overall, it's mildly undercarbonated and lacks any interplay of malt-hop notes which means much in a good ale. NEIPAs are often meant to be soft and/or mellow, but not as characterless as this one.
