Cask. Medium to dark chestnut with a thin tight head. Slide lacing.
Smells of slightly charred hops with a background of sweet malt.
Tastes of cocoa nibs and stewed veg'. The late bitterness appears to come from the hops rather than the malt.
Labelled as a porter yet more like a dark bitter.
