This intense Kriek is crafted from three different varieties, macerated with both young and old lambics. This exceptional blend has been aged for seven additional months in Bourbon whiskey barrels, deepening the complexity and character of the Kriek.

A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2023 vintage, botted on 26th June 2024. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A very nice slightly hazy cherry ruby red colour, with a one finger pink head that had good retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Tart, cherry, red berries, wood, lemon zest
Taste: Sour, tart, cherry, red berry candy sweet, lemon zest, with notes of wood.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Looks good with great flavours as the bourbon comes through as enjoyable candy sweetness.
