A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2023 vintage, botted on 4th July 2024. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A very nice slightly hazy cherry ruby red colour with a one finger pink head that had good retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Cherry, red wine grape skin, vinous, red berries, wood, citrus zest.
Taste: Sour, tart, vinous, red wine grapes, cherry juice, red berries, lemon zest..
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: A very nice blend of Pinot Noir wine and Kriek lambic resulting in great aromas and enjoyable flavours.
