Side tap hsndle pour at Pivovsr Cvikov gastropuub in Old Town Prague.
This is a semi-dark lager. From Thursday, July 2, the four brands - Sklář, Luž, Hvozd and Klíč - will be joined by Svátéčnik 13°, a semi-dark lager, which is occasionally brewed for important events.
CV brews the festive lager from three types of malts – pilsner, Bavarian and caramel, using the classic two-mash technology. Each of the malts imparts something different to the beer. Pilsen malt forms the basic flavor outline, Bavarian malt increases the perception of the fullness of the beer, and caramel malt completes the pleasantly bitter taste of the multi-stage semi-dark beer. The subtle bitterness makes the malty notes of the beer stand out. The beer ferments by bottom fermentation in an open vat at a temperature of 13.5 °C, followed by a long maturation in a lager tank at 2 °C.
This beer is covered with a high foam with a faint hint of caramel, and it also impresses with its amber color. Beautiful brew.,.
