Pours a pale amber with an off white head that hangs around and leaves trails of lace.
Smells of resinous pine, citrus, floral bouquet, and bitter herb.
Resinous pine up front balanced by sweet nutty toasted bread malt finishing with floral and herb notes.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is copper, nearly transparent, head is off white with fine bubbles, head presents one finger thick, dissipating to thin top, spotty lacing.
Smell is malt forward with toast, biscuit, caramel, then hops are pine, earth, grass, citrus.
Taste is more pronounced - big malt forward flavor with toast, biscuit, caramel then hops are pine, earth, herbal, floral, citrus pith; big malt and hops with pretty clean presence.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, strong bitterness, lingering bitterness and sweetness.
Overall a great class DIPA - malty, hoppy, clean finish and lingering bitterness.

Clear copper appearance with an average size of white head and spotty lacing. Getting a good whiff of grapefruit as soon as the top is popped but that is soon buried as the spicy, herbal, resinous hops move in. Dank, earthy taste with a solid malt backbone supporting a fundamental array of West coast style hops. Decently carbonated, medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel.

12 oz can poured nice cold into a can-glass. Packaged on 5/20/23, enjoyed on 8/4/23.
Generous foam rises up top of orangey-gold brew. Lacing doesn’t last.
Sweet aroma of caramel malt and spicy hops.
Taste follows; the Chinook hop shines, balanced almost too sweet by the malt profile. Clean drink.,. all notes are in order. Hop, malt, hop, taste of honey sweet, dry, bitter. Little alky bite fits well. Nice lingering aftertaste.
Feel is lively, medium carbonation.
Overall, this is a fine and easy drinking brew with a little attitude.

19.2 oz can from Total Wine - Laurel. Light amber pour, cloudy, sturdy off- white head, substantial lacing. Malty aroma, caramel. Taste is sweet malts that brings in a sharp hoppy edge. Reaches out and grabs you by the tonsils. Pretty accessible DIPA. Walks the fine line between hops and malts. Much surprised, as I rarely give props to the oversized packaged servings.

This thing is crazy delicious if you like malt, hop, and bitterness. Semi-clear copper appearance with a modest khaki head that dissipates pretty quickly. Grain, caramel, honey, malt, bitter notes. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation. Not for a fruity IPA person.

Big Truck Farm Brewery "Dually"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 03/09/2023" and sampled on 06/17/2023

Notes via stream of consciousness: "No farms, no beer."; I love that. This is also a Chinook DIPA, based on the fact that it's on the back of the truck on the label, which is unusual these days. It's poured a mostly clear amber colored body beneat a thumb's width of rocky off-white foam. The aroma clearly expresses Chinook's piney and resinous character over a grainy and caramelish malt base. No one makes beers like this anymore; what's going on? The flavor follows the aroma exactly. It's sweetish, bready, grainy, and caramelish with a combination of golden caramel and more middle-ground reddish caramel. It's rich but there's enough piney, floral, woody, spicy, and citrusy (grapefruit, orange, lemon) character from the hops to pull it altogether and balance it out along with the help of a solid bitterness (60 ~ 70 IBUs). There's also a little bit of apple that I'm assuming is coming from the yeast but I could be wrong, as well as a little bit of alcohol that's maybe a slight touch more than I normally expect. The mouthfeel is medium-full and creamy smooth once the intial bristle of carbonation fades as it warms across the palate. The head has held up well and there's some very nice lacing left about the glass. All in all I have to say that this is a great beer that's very well brewed and nicely balanced and rounded in a style that hardly anyone brews anymore. I have to laugh though, because statistically this is probably new to most craft drinkers as they weren't even born yet, or were just kids, back when these were popular in the late 90's and early 2000's. I'm not even a fan of Chinook and I love it.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a clear gold color with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is a very nice blend of orange, pine, and floral, with a slight sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium. Finish is clean and soft, with basically no residuak bitterness. My first beer from this brewery, and I'm suitably impressed.
