A revved-up true malted Hazy IPA with tropical juicy flavors and aromas. This beer utilizes Big Truck’s farm-grown Cascade hops along with Mosaic and Centennial hops. A perfect trifecta!

Huge white head over a cloudy body. Once that settled down came whiffs of lemon focused citrus and a wave of tropical fruit. Smooth, fruity flavor that avoided bitterness. Medium bodied, suitably carbonated mouthfeel. Maybe not too exciting but not disappointing.

Pours a pale hazy yellow with a white head that leaves trails of lace.
Big citrus - lemon, orange, grapefruit - with floral and earthy undertones.
Taste follows nose with nice complexity.

Big Truck Farm Brewery "Halfcab"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 04/06/2023" and sampled on 06/11/2023
$2.99 @ Total Wine & More, Claymont, DE
Notes via stream of consciousness: The label states that this is brewed with their own farm-grown Cascade hops as well as Mosaic and Centennial. It's poured a cloudy yellow-gold body beneath a thumb's width of white foam. The aroma isn't that bright but it's citrusy and berry-like. The flavor follows with a pleasantly grainy and cereal-like malty sweetness that's threaded through with notes of berries, dull lemon and grapefruit, earthiness, grassiness, pine, and mineral. It's firmly bitter and dry in the finish with the earthiness and lemon & pine lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied but appearing a little fuller due to all of the extra proteins, and gently crisp. All in all it's nicely done but not out of this world, however, I am looking forward to tasting what else they've got.

From the 12 ounce can, it pours a hazy light amber color with a 1 inch white head that slowly reduces and leaves a bit of lacing. The nose gets a bit of citrus and light malt. The mouth gets the same - lemon edged taste of nice malt.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dominated by grapefruit. Taste is juicy, grapefruit, a touch of lemon, highly refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Hazy gold copper appearance with a foamy white head, and limited retention and lacing. Floral, fruity, malty notes. Medium body and carbonation, creamy finish.
