First impression is a big bouquet o' bananas, which can turn me off. But There's also a coppery, cloudy body and a thin, lacy head. A very tasty caramel roast malt note. The usual German hop profile balances enough to cancel itself out. A nice soft citrusy wheat texture makes this very enjoyable and easy to sip as a session beer. Matt put this beer up as a baseball theme, along with "Pale Hose Pale." I only had this Cubby-themed beer first because the server said this was running low. There's no curse, no goat, no ball... the Cubs just s**k.

Glowing, hazy, amber colored brew that is served in the appropriate glassware. Pure white head that leaves an intricate lace & hangs in for most of the beer.
The aromas are dead on. Juicy fruit, lots of banana, clove, and bready goodness.
Very full flavors too. Not overly spicy, just very well put together. Banana, clove, a bit of pepper too.
Medium body, creamy with gentle carbonation. I don't know if this beer will actually break the curse(yeah right!), but I'll drink my share to help out the cause. A great effort by Matt.

Wow. This is an amazing Weizen Bock. It's got everything that a good hefeweizen and then doubled. There's more banana (but not overripe or out of control). There's more clove (but not overwhelming). There's most wheat flavor. There's more creaminess in the body. It even manages to retain some of the refreshing citrus qualities and even manages to keep a little lightness compared to its size that make this a surprising beer.

Pours a hazy gold light amber with moderate white head that throws off a ton of lace.
Aroma of big bubblegum. colves, banana and wheat bread yeast. Smells like Juicy Fruit and Banana flavored Bubblicious gum.
Flavor of light wheat with yeasty, fruity esters galore. Somewhat lighter than some other Weizenbocks I've had but very delicious.
Mouthfeel is sweet throughout with a spicy finish. Hides the relatively high alcohol content very well.
Drinkability is high. Hiding the alcohol is a neat trick with this beer, very nice effort by the new brewer.
