This one might get lost in a place where hoppy IPAs are the standard. Nice, slightly hazy copper body, with a head that coats the sides of the glass. Though lower in IPAs, hops are still a big part of the flavor profile. These lend bitterness and a grapefruit nose, I'm supposing Cascade or Northern Brewer and a bit of Amarillo. Malts are lessened, but there's a light toasty character. Probably not too big on alcohol.
Just to clear up confusion over the name: "Pale Hose" is a nickname for the White Sox. Matt put this on tap at the same time as "Break the Curse Weizen Bock," in reference to the Cubs' inability to win a World Series within living memory.
