Irresponsible tick #8
A) Medium brown and cloudy. 1/2 inch head. Clumpy ring retention with tight, scattered lace and a portion of lace in the shape of a T-Rex skull.
S) Deep, grainy wheat aromas with some clove and banana.
T/M) Toasty wheat flavor with a full feel to match. Appropriate, average carbonation. Hints of fruit on the finish with a lingering dirty earth note.
D) It's alright but kind of lackluster.

This is listed at Flossmoor as "Chautauqua Dunkel Weiss" I got a 16oz glass on tap at Flossmoor that poured a cloudy medium brown color with a slight off-white head. The taste was rather mild with a lot of malts. The texture was smooth and delivered a great refreshing taste that delivered a slight sweet after taste from the malts. A pretty well made, good tasting Dunkelweizen.
