On tap at Flossmoor. Pours a deep reddish brown with a small light brown head that fades. Some faint lacing is left behind. Aroma is light roasted caramel malts along with a few hop notes. Flavor is very earthy. Notes of roasted nuts, sweet caramel, and floral hops ending in a nice lightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied with a light carbonation. I really enjoyed this one.

Served in a pint glass at Flossmoor Station 5/5/07. Thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist! Listed on the beer menu as 6% abv.
A: Very deep, dark-red with a small and creamy off-white head. Pretty looking sheets of lace coat the inside of the glass.
S: Hard to get aromas out of this when first served. As it warms some aromatic hops emerge. Nice hint of pine sap.
T: Just like above the flavors come alive as it warms. Nice mixture of tangy hops and caramel malt.
M: Sticky, smooth, and creamy with a pleasantly bitter finish.
D: Quite flavorful and very sessionable.

Appearance: Served a dark cloudy amber color with a frothy white cap and loads of lacing lining the walls of my pint glass.
Smell: A light fruity aroma slowly unveils some toasted caramel malt and drizzle of honey, on top of a reserved earthy hop attribute.
Taste. It definitely starts with a smooth bready body, some grapefruit hops and toffee nuts throw the flavors into a spin when pineapple attribute seems to be met with a dash of coconut giving it an 'almost' tropical feel.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a nice crisp dry finish.
Drinkability: This is a unique easy drinking beer. It was very refreshing with dinner and disappeared quickly out of my glass.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
