Imperial Stout aged for 12 months in Heaven Hill barrels. We added whole vanilla Beans, cinnamon and habanero peppers to give it a balanced, sweet and spicy flavor.
The name for this “Mexican Cake Stout” is inspired by Aztec mythology involving a tragic love story between a princess and warrior.

Had on tap. Pitch black body with a tan thick collar. Hot booze dominates the smell, cinnamon, smoke and dark chocolate are in there somewhere. Taste is a hot boozy and smoky mess, pepper only add to the confused mashup, cocoa, and cinnamon grind away underneath it all. Feel is hot yet thin and dry, just doesn't come together well.
