Served in a nonic pint glass at the brewpub.
I think this was described as a Novemberfest. Right on. Fight the system, and all that. It pours a clear golden straw topped by a finger of white micro-foam. The nose comprises flowers, honey, and light lemon zest. Hm, this thing smells more like a pale ale or one of the lighter lagers out there than an O-Fest (or even an N-Fest). The taste holds notes of light caramel, pepper, clove, ruby red grapefruit zest, and a light touch of pine. There we go, back to normal. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a nice O-/N-Fest, though the sappy nose holds it back from any chance at greatness.
