Decadence, which is a peach sour, blended with our Wit and also an addition of fresh mangoes, pureed and added directly to the serving barrel.

"Sour ale aged in stainless for 2 years blended with some of our Le Chien Blanc Belgian Wit and aged on mangos for a week."
Served in a tulip at Flossmoor Station.
A - Served with a finger of off-white foam that settles to a thick cap, leaving a few fingers of lace. Visible carbonation on the edges of an otherwise hazy amber body.
S - A mix of lactic acidity, mangos, wheat, fruit juice, and a hint of light plastic. Smells kind of like a Berliner with mango syrup added actually.
T - Taste is a little less exciting. It's sour, but without much of the advertised mango. Sharp wheat makes an appearance, along with some lactic notes. Finish is earthy and mildly unpleasant.
M - Zesty carbonation, with a grainy medium body and a surprisingly tannic finish for a beer aged in stainless - must be the fruit. No obvious alcohol, nor should there be.
D - It's a very interested and unique beer - I wasn't initially sure what to make of it. The experiment was largely successful other than the weird finish which dissuaded me from ordering another glass. Worth a try, but not a special trip. I easily finished my glass, but went back to the superior Prickly Pear sour.
