Gravity pour at Jake Melnick's. Served in a taster stange.

A - Minimal foam settles to a thin ring, some wisps, and tiny spots of lace. Murky apricot juice color.

S - Lactic sourness, hint of sulfur, musty and earthy brett, some light notes of overripe peaches. A bit understated, but I find many cask beers are a bit muted in the aroma department.

T - Taste is initially an improvement, with nice tropical fruits and mild lactic sourness that seem to 'pop' more than the aroma. However, the finish is somewhat off-putting, with a mix of yeast, apple juice, medicinal flavors, and unmalted wheat that reminds me of some less successful Berliner Weisses I've tried. I'll split the difference.

M - Medium body, with minimal carbonation, smooth texture, no alcohol, and a dry and slightly tannic finish. Perhaps a touch watery.

D - Even though it's not a great beer, it's eminently drinkable and I think I had 3-4 pours of this throughout the evening. The low carbonation certainly adds in session prowess, and other than the unpleasant finish the rest of the beer is quite enjoyable.

A murky low collar very tiny white neck. Orange and tangerine.

Nice peach character. Pure light peach. The wheat is dry very well mingled.

Flavor of big peach. It's a light sweetness no apricot. It's perfect peach level. Wheaty grainess. Finishes dry cellulosic without oxidation. Very grateful.

Mild light great level of carb for cask. Low sticky finish grainy feeling.

Great beer to drink. I could drink this all night.
