No need to repeat the excellent and thorough description PapaGoose03 gave — totally agree.

We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon on a tour of southern Michigan breweries, and liked it A LOT. Very relaxing, the beer was average to very good — we especially liked the Osiris Old Ale and the Coconutty Porter.

This place was a refreshing and relaxing change from our visit to Bell’s last night and, frankly, the best flight of beers we’ve had in the three breweries we’ve so far visited this weekend.

Service was excellent and friendly, and the cost was amazingly reasonable.

If we were to return to the Holland/Grand Haven area, we would definitely stop back in!

This brewery is located on the east side of town away from the touristy areas. It occupies half of a dual-occupancy building, and a few parking spaces are along the side of the structure. A patio area at the front door has some picnic tables with umbrellas. We stopped here to try their beers but found a lively conversation with the bartender and the owner/brewer. For that I liked the vibe and the service of the place (it was mid-afternoon on a weekday). The L-shaped bar had room for a bot a dozen stools, and there was a modest amount of tables/chairs. A couple of TVs were on the walls. The place is not large.

There are 12 taps with a nice style selection of 10 beers, along with a cider and a hard seltzer that could be flavored with 8-9 syrup choices. We sat at the bar and chose a sampler flight of 5 of the beers, and the bartender gave us tastes of two additional beers in which we expressed some curiosity. All of them were brewed very well to style, and we especially liked The Creeper IPA (all Citra hops) and Kathrina, a blueberry-cherry sour.

No food is served here, but food trucks are scheduled 5-6 evenings each week. Packaged snacks are available. Soft drinks are available for the non-drinkers, and a sign was posted that they make slushies too. Crowlers and growlers are available to go. We really enjoyed our visit here and can recommend it as a very worthy stop when you're in town.

Nice neighborhood spot on the East side of the city. Plenty of outside and inside seating. The staff seemed a little hurried on my first visit; but I believe I arrived at busy time. The second visit was a little less crowded and my server spent some time offering tastes and information on the pours. No food but they do have visiting food trucks. Nice friendly neighborhood brewery and I plan future visits. Hopefully like the other Grand Haven breweries they will improve as they grow.
