Poured from a pint can, purchased at the brewery, into a Nonic pint glass. The can has the brewing date, just a 10 days prior to the purchase date.
One finger caramel colored head dissipates quickly, with traces of lacingas the beer is consumed. Body of the beer is jet black. Malty aroma with hints of oatmeal and raisins. The first sip is a malty treat, with a clean hop finish. Easy drinking stout from Farm Road.

Poured from tap at the brewery into a tulip glass. Pours black with initial foam head. Very smooth with light burnt malt taste with vanilla cream backing. Very good.
