Murky orange-gold color. Poured a short head that dropped back to a patchy, thin skiff in half a minute. Too murky to see the carbonation level directly, but there are lots of fresh bubbles getting to the surface. Left no lacing.

Funky yeast smells with fruit - mostly passionfruit with a faint mango. There is a light malt that is almost covered up by the funk and fruit. Swirling the glass kicked up a sweet and pleasant barnyard for a few seconds that was quickly replaced by stronger fruit.

A mix of sweet and sour. Some light malt acts as a good base for an incredible blend of floral and fruit flavors with some yeasty funk. A hint of bitters that seem bound to the light malt. This is a continually evolving set of flavors that change from sip to sip and second by second. At one point I had a flash of ground pepper and french fries. Mostly it is a blend of funk, unknown flowers, and various fruits. The aftertaste is a more straight up sour funk with passionfruit and a bit of stonefruit. The malt shows up more clearly in the aftertaste as the other flavors fade away.

Some light tongue tingling. A bit astringent that turns stronger in the aftertaste.

This is a spectacular example of what a fruit sour can be. The fruit is in overabundance, but there is still a solid floor of malt and yeasty funk to remind you that you are drinking a beer. This would be great for that friend that doesn't like beer because they have only ever tried big brewery lagers. The only problem is that it would be hard to drink two of them back to back without something in between for a rest.
