I need to get to the beer store to get some American brews. In the mean time, I have been hitting up this large collection of German light beers that Costco sells in their advent calendar. I just hate going into any kind of store right now because there really is a public health emergency.
It pours a light yellow with on a little head, but perfectly translucent. The aroma is almost non-existent, but clean. The taste is also just so clean. It says on the can that the number one ingredient is wasser, of course. It finishes like water with the faintest hops burp. The easiest of easy drinking.
Recommended (if you got one, drink it before it is too late, if you don't, you shouldn't seek one out). This not how I remember beer from my trips to Bavaria in 1969 and 1970. It is well made but without any compelling qualities. Back then I thought the beer tasted funny compared to my (then) favorite, Budweiser. It had too much character (and alcohol) for the young me - I passed out in a bar for the first time at age 12.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
