Pours a clear golden color with a thin foamy head that quickly dissipates. Lacing is minimal. Aroma of banana bread with some mild spice. Banana bread with clove and nutmeg spices on the taste. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Pours out a nice hazy golden amber color, it has a thick white head that is dense and slowly thins out into a stable layers of bubbles forming a nice thick ring around the glass.
Grassy aromas mixed in with some raisin and banana bread come through mixed in with some mild cloves.
Semi sweet overall, cloves are up front followed by some light phenolic flavors and a hint a citrus in the aftertaste.
Light bodied with plenty of carbonation, very warming and easy to enjoy.
Not a bad beer overall.

From the pint can in the 2023 Kalea Bier Advent Calendar, it pours hazy light amber color with a modest, for a weissbier, white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a slightly unpleasant over ripe banana scent. Slightly watery feel provides a pleasant bready flavor with banana.

Poured from the can into a pokal style glass.
Milky, and nearly turbid looking out of the can and filling with a thick peach orange like color and fine carbonated looking body. Head creation is off white, maybe a light khaki and sticks to a basic two fingers. Settles with no lacing and a perfect creamed collar and thin topped puck.
Even off the pour the banana monster is strong on this one. Giant aroma of over-ripe bananas immediately, touches also some boozy notes and phenolic like clove aromas too. Might hint a touch of cardamom and corriander in their also. Bold but also runs a litle hot on the nose too.
Palate seems to take turns in lots of different flavors. Slightly surprising light body flirting with a watery mouthfeel. Mid palate hits with banana and bubblegum like sweetness just out of nowhere. A good spicy clove note is evident as well, quite dry and cuts through the somewhat thin body very quickly too. Finishes spicy, and glad to see the boozy like hinting character is quite tolerable also and not overpowering either, but there is a hint of kick here, which also is exaggerated by the spicy quality even more so.
Interesting tasting Weizenbock, not the biggest fan of this one, but it's certainly not a waste.

Wow. This is the best of the Costco Advent Calendar Egerer German brews yet. I'm glad I have several more in the collection. But this really is the best in memory from this year or the last time I had one.
I am not really sure what the style is supposed to taste like. I've had a few over the years. This one might be ideal. Just the right aroma - slightly yeasty and rich. The taste follows suit - full but not overloading. Lots of wheat beer yeasty goodness. The finish is where you pay the price. The beer looks all light and yellow but it sits big an heavy once you drink it.
Recommended. If you have one you are in for a treat.
