From the half liter can, it pours a clear light yellow golden color with a nice head that slowly reduces. Grassy scents in the nose. The mouth gets a light malt with a touch of hop bitterness. Decent.

Now this one was a very good Helles! I loved it, it was close to the ones I like. Did not have too much of that remarkable aroma but the flavor was really good, they nailed it! It had a bit of a sweetness in there that was very distinct but interestingly enough the sweetness was not overwhelming, not too much - it was just right, made the whole thing mellow and smooth. It was great to the last drop.

Pours a very clear golden yellow color with a finger width carbonated head Head retention is mild. Lacing is decent. Grassy hay on the aroma. Maybe a hint of citrus. Grassy, crackery, and citrus on the taste. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

It poured with a frothy head and a light yellow body.
smells a bit like saltine crackers in a grassy field at a picnic.
Has a slight chamomile flavor with a bit malt that hits in the roof of the mouth.
a very mild easily drinkable beer with just a bit of carbonation would be a good session beer.
Overall made me smile.

another beer flavored beer from this advent box, at times i have sworn like several of them are the same beer just in different cans, a lot of these helles ones taste tired, a little malty and sweet for the style, oxidized or cheaply packaged, and just not quite as snappy and refreshing as the best examples of the style, or like somehow american made examples have caught up to, or in these cases usurped some of the old world originals, this just isnt that clean or bright, but its nice lager, probably suffering from voyage fatigue to some extent, as a lot of these also have so far. richer brassy golden toned, rather clear, and with a slow fading white inch of head, looks right. the nose and taste are the same, simple dusty german pils malt, maybe even just a single malt in this, a lightly herbal hop note, and some generic grain sweetness running through it, perhaps a touch of honey, a slightly soapy side to the yeast, and just slight tannic astringency in the texture, even though its fizzy like soda at first, familiar but also subtly curious in like an its almost cheap kind of way, but it also has a heart malt side and more flavor than many, in part due to the sugar hanging around. not sure what to make of this, more interesting than a mindless ripper, but i cant class it with the best helles types, not with some oxidation on it like this anyway, fun to try but not one of the more memorable brews in the box for me so far...

Day 20 of the 2021 Costco Beer Advent Calendar. Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain, stronger than most. Tastes of cereal grain, better than most, but pretty plain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Look - 19th beer of the 2021 Costco Advent Calendar. Poured into a imperial pint glass. Golden in color, clear, with a big head that completely dissipates, leaving virtually no lacing.
Smell - crackers and some sweetness: nothing out of the ordinary here.
Taste - a lot of bread, and the beer actually tastes a lot heartier than it looks. a little bitterness in the clean finish.
Feel - light bodied, high carbonation, and right on par for the style in booziness at 5.1% ABV.
Overall - another good but non-standout Helles from this tasting pack. this one is a bit heartier in terms of the bready flavor, but still light and refreshing to drink.

Picked up as part of the Costco Advent pack on 10-9-21 for $59.99. Best by 2023/05; consumed 1-2-22.
Beer poured golden with a pretty good white head with the original pour.
Nose has hints of biscuity malts and noble hops.
Taste is a light biscuity malt base that is balanced pretty well by the noble hop addition.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall a decent beer but lacks some hop spiciness.
