Copenhagen 4/4 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black and orange label with an orange Warming sign with a hop flower inside.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. A bit bubbly. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, lightly sweet and with citric twist. Orange, sugar, pale malts. Light odor of tangerine and citrus.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong citric sour bitterness. Aftertaste is thin and slightly citric. Lingers shortly.
Very much on the thin and anonymous side.. this Craftwerk needs some juice.

For a 5.8% single hop beer, it's quite weak in taste, but not bad overall.

L: Pours a super hazy amber color with a thick, dirty white head that leaves moderate lacing. The haziness combined with the color looks really great and is appropriate for the beer's name. It did have some small, pellet-like sediment at the bottom of the bottle that nestled atop the head before finding its way to the bottom of the glass. Still a great looking beer, although more like a contemporary hazy IPA than an English Pale Ale. S: Though perhaps not as intense as the look of the beer leads to believe, the aroma of juicy tangerines/mandarins is definitely there. Smells very fresh. T: Rather disappointing flavor. The juicy appearance and aroma is replaced by mostly just bland bitterness, kind of like an unripe orange. As a 'SIngle Hop Pale Ale' (Mandarina Bavaria) though, I wouldn't say it's underwhelming, just simple. F: Thin body, medium carbonation, and low-medium bitterness with only a slightly dry finish. Overall: A respectable Pale Ale and actually more than what I expected from Bitburger's 'craft' project.

Hoppy beer with a nice citrus taste. Light and enjoyable with enough bitterness for hop lovers, but sweet enough for those who don't appreciate hops.
