Dark Season – wenn die „Dark Side of the Day“ länger dauern darf.

Copenhagen 29/3 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of an Owl in pink and purple hue on the label.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a medium-sized, light beige head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Thin rim running along the side of th glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense. Sweet, roasted malty and metallic. Dark, roasted malts, brown sugar. Weird metallic odor of tin can.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense. A fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin, sweetish and thin. Lingers shortly.
Lacks some intensity - and could do without the metallic tang.
