Purchased from the brewery. A rich dark brown color. Smell: toasty malt. Taste: tasty roast coffee. Feel: light/medium.
Overall, a nice sipping winter brew

Wow, outstanding brew. Engine Joe Espresso Porter--I brought a growler of this on a camping trip and drank it later that night and took notes. Pours nice dark black with a creamy head. Very dark coffee flavors and smell that wakes up the nose. Creamy/silky body but also has a slightest bite to it to give a well rounded mouth feel. Sweetness that compliments the bitterness of the coffee which at times tastes like a mixture between peach and toffee. Very clean aftertaste. I almost wonder if there's some caffeine from the espresso beans they used, it felt like I got a nice pick me up from the couple pints I drank. Overall not only one of the best coffee porters but one of the best beers I've had. It was really good and was enjoyed by everyone I was with.
