An herbal beast.
A- Tap cascades into the glass with a hazy deep golden orange body and a puffy white head. The cap dies out completely without leaving much lacing at all.
S/T- Herbal and spicy with some citrus feels. Clovey, earthy and woodsy sort of tree bark feel; almost like cinnamon without the spiciness. Some phenolics compliment the heavy but satisfying cooking herb bay leaf character.
MF- The body itself is towards the light side and fluffy. Crisp overall touch on the palate with a medium level of carbonation and a bitter herbal finish.
I am not 100% familiar with the flavors of some of the added herbs and spices but this one is just an herbal bomb. I like the use of bay leaves and it sure did hit the spot on an extremely hot day. Gruits get more and more interesting every day for me.
