On draft at Earth Eagle Taproom
A: Pours a light copper with almost no head.
S: Heavy on the Dandelion, very herbal and woody.
T: As with the nose there is quite a bit of dandelion that does have a bitterness/astringency (root), woody/root notes, lots of vanilla, herbal/leafy. Almost tastes like a vanilla dandelion yogurt.
M: Light body with moderate to slightly high carbonation. Smooth and creamy, this is the best aspect the beer, though the finish isn't as crisp as I'd like.
O: An interesting beer for sure, but I found the dandelion was just too strong and astringent with all the roots/wood and didn't really think the flavors balanced out right.
