Visited on a Saturday evening late, about 9pm. Almost no one there.
V - A brand new brewery with a brand new facility. The inside bar and eating space is big, spacious, well lit and just beautiful. The timber framers did an impressive job. A masterpiece of an interior down to the lighting. But it is rather big and when empty can seem sort of hollow. The vibe but would be better when full of people. 4.25
Q - I had the New bruises and the Cancel Culture. New Bruises was a nice IPA but the Cancel Culture was a bit of a citrusy mess called a golden ale. Three of their primary beers (APA, IPAs) were unavailable. 3.5
Ser - Server had no knowledge about the beer or the food. Selection is decent based on the list but as noted three beers were unavailable and on a Saturday night! 3.5
Sel - Very disappointed that three of their principal beers were unavailable. They had the obligatory sour and a stout, don't recall seeing any more easy drinking non-hoppy styles. 3.25
F - Both of us had the mussels cooked in beer. Average to maybe below average. The dish was plain and boring. 3.5
