A blend of Pilsner malts from NC, Pale & Munich malts from CO, Chit & Wheat malts from Minnesota make up a crisp and flavorful base for this showcase of Hop Flavor! Bittered with Nugget and a boil addition of Cascade balance just enough for a huge whirlpool addition of Fresh Hop Centennial. These were flown in over night from Oregon and we used them just within 24 hrs of being picked. Fermented semi dry with a clean Kveik strain. Orange marmalade and zesty citrus pith with an assertive bitterness that doesn't linger.

Pours yellow with a mild copper tint to the color. Translucency has a little fog to it. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is rich and sticky resin, pine, and mild herbal hops. Medicinal is present, but more of a faint after thought. Sticky and sharp on the nose. Flavor profile brings forward the same sticky hops - resin, pine, herbal, and again, faint medicinal. It's like drinking sticky pinecones. Balanced finish thanks to a light dryness that keeps the sticky hops from lingering. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is fuzzy and soft, like a hoppy blanket for the tongue. Overall, really smooth and solid. Good hop forwardness.
