We have a very special beer to release this week. In August, Mythic Brewing lost a very special man, our grandfather, a man simply known as Grumpy.
We are a family company, and we wouldn’t be where we are without the creativity he encouraged, the work ethic he instilled, and the love he gave effortlessly and endlessly. He is survived by his wife, 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and countless people whose lives he touched.
Since he was a 1st-generation American born of Scottish parents, it only makes sense that his beer is a Scotch Ale.
Grandpa Grumps is an 8% Scotch Ale. Like the man himself, it is full of flavor, sweet, and best enjoyed with family.
