Meet our big ticket Kölsch – A lagered ale inspired by the historic Kölsch beer of Cologne Germany. Crisp, unique, subtle but oh so drinkable. This German style Kölsch is a beer hybrid bringing the best of both worlds between a classic ale and a crisp lager. Light and refreshing but flavorful and unique. Come try one out, you’ve earned it!

At The Cookie Bar on Drouillard Rd. in nearby Windsor; on tap and chilled, 4oz. in a flight of eight beers. My ninth beer from the Cambridge, Ontario brewery; leading an outing of The Responsible Beer Drinking Club...

March 26/26: At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Small Batch Dispatch's February curation. No date stamp or lot number. My 2nd time drinking this, 1st for 2026--and 1st time canned. Enjoyed whilst bathing by Sundae the cat...

Poured 473ml can into a pint glass. A two finger white head on a hazy pale gold. The head diminishes to a ring. Some minimal patchy lacing.

Mild malt smells. Some apple. Lightly flavoured. Slight hop bitterness. A fruity dry finish.

A light body and moderate carbonation. Overall clean, crisp and refreshing. a fine Kölsch. True to the style and well worth a try.

Can freshly racked from the brewery - pours a hazy pale gold with a rocky, white 2 finger cap...aromas of boiled grains, light apple tones, herbal earthy hops and wet straw...light on the palate, restrained sweetness and a malty-cidery character...flavor is well balanced in front, dusty biscuit malts and a subtle herbal-cider undertone..finish is clean, crisp and lightly bitter, goes dry and a tad acidic.....no aftertaste...very quenching, flavorful and drinkable...I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much, everybody is making a kolsch-like beer but this one surprised me as it stands out as being very true to style...one of the best North American Kolsch I've tasted, if you close your eyes and sip you can imagine being in a Köln pub with Kobes laying down a tray of kolsh in stangen for your session...a well made kolsch with attention to the subtle details that made this beer so popular in Germany.
