This barleywine was brewed in April of ’20 and aged in the red wine barrel from Fidelitas Wines that held the ’20 vintage of ‘The Cloak’ Imperial Stout. In the aging process, this beer gained a rich copper color, more oaky characters, notes of vanilla, granny smith apples, and creme brulee with the toasty elements turned up to eleven, 11.6%.
