This is a very comforting and flavorful beer. Had it from tap at the brewery and it is a nice beer even when poured into a plastic cup. Dark brown color with little head or lacing, it I did not consider this a significant problem. Ripe dark fruit smell and taste. Figs, dark berries and raisins, sweet dark cherries. This beer is ever so slightly boozy. A very nice beer!
