A pretty solid malty barleywine. Bitterness starts low behind the raisin, brown sugar, and berry jam malt notes. Nose seems slightly fusel to me, and doesn’t live up to the pretty good flavors in this brew. As the beer warms, nectarine or something similar sneaks in, as does a light pine note to close out each sip.
