On tap at brewery:
Clear pale golden from a fairly slow pouring tap. I thought that might be to contain carbonation, but the limited head production tells me otherwise. That plays over in feel, as well, with muted bubbles that make this closer to flat than effervescent.

Nose is quite nice, with banana esters leading, back by pear / sweet red apple, and a dry grass to hay counter. The flavors follow, though lean a bit more to the sweet banana side. I’m also getting more bubblegum on the palate than the nose.

Although it’s a fine and perhaps subjective distinction, I’d have this more in the Belgian golden ale area than pale ale because of the sweet/bitter balance.
