On tap at brewery:
Crystal clear (for smoked crystal) copper / brown topaz color with a medium white collar of easily revived bubbles. Nice toasted malt nose with some fall spice and a bit of noble hops. There’s almost an impression of some pitted fruit that appears only if I’m not trying to find it.
The feel is a little light and moderately carbonated. The toasted malt seems muted compared to the nose and an earthy bitterness seems overweighted. The back end settles into a more familiar malt tea-like flavor with an earthy linger, leaning to the bitter side.
