I visited Headworks a couple weeks back while tooling around Enumclaw. It’s a neat spot, located in an old brick warehouse, so it’s kinda industrial with a lot of brick and corrugated steel. The brewhouse shares the space, with the taproom, so it’s fully visible behind the bar - a touch I always appreciate. Service at the counter was friendly and helpful.
On my visit they had a dozen or so taps; styles included a few IPAs, a stout, an oak-aged Scottish strong ale, a guava passionfruit Berliner weissbier, blonde, pale ale, wee heavy, amber, schwarzbier, and a barrel aged stout. I appreciated seeing the schwarzbier on the menu, and it was not too bad. Of the beers I had, quality was kind of all over the place: some really good, some not-so-great. Kind of the curse of being a relatively young brewery, I would say.
