From the bottle, it pours a lovely clear pale yellow gold color with a nice large white head. In the nose, it is light in scent with a touch of hops. In the mouth, it is nicely Franken bitter with a crisp malt base. Nice!

A: The color is pale golden while the tall white, somewhat thick head is crystal white. Rich lacings occour after a while.
S: Clean bready malt and noble bitter hops. Some nettles and also Swedish crisp-rye-bread.
T: Follows the smell, a little milder taste than many other Pilseners from Germany.
M: Thin body, mild carbonation and modest aftertaste - mainly bitter.
O: The body was a bit too thin for my taste.

I drank this in a restaurant while I was in Germany. It was in a glass when served but I am going to assume it came from a bottle. It had a clear golden straw body with almost two fingers of white head with a lot of spread out lace. The aroma was earthy and crisp with aromas of hops and sweet malt. The flavor was crisp at first but settled to be more grassy and grain like. As far as mouthfeel is concerned it is pretty thin with some mild bite. I still have the glass.

0.5L brown screw-top bottle with a white, silver, and blue label.
Faint aroma holds a pinch of earthy hops and barely sweet pale malt. Tall, creamy, off-white head holds strong leaving specs of lace as it slowly fades. Transparent, pale-golden beer holds a few lazily rising bubbles. Tastes of hop tea, slightly grainy malt, and something artificial that I just can't pin down (maybe orange popsicles?) Finishes with a mild bitter bite. The mouthfeel is a bit watery and not as crisp as I was hoping for. Not a bad beer, but not a good Pils.
