Freebie taster at brewery. Bright, clear golden, spotty head. Piney, floral aroma. Taste is bursting with classic NW IPA flavors, hoppy, resiny, mouth coating. A nice break from the Euro samplers alive been trying.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a somewhat hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of mildly caramel malt, piney and citrus hops, orange and pine. Flavor is light caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, orange, hints of tropical fruit and pine. Solid piney bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. As promised, a classic West Coast profile of citrus and pine in this IPAs hop bill. Not that complex, but pleasant herbal flavors. Satisfying piney bitterness in the finish. Doesn't break any new ground, but a nicely made, satisfying West Coaster.
