Look: Slightly opaque amber-red in color with a lofty sand-colored head that threatens to overflow the rim before slowly settling to a pillow, leaving copious lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, light floral notes, toasted cereal grains, and light wafts of toffee
Taste: Starts off with a combo of bready malt, toasted bread, and strong floral notes that bring in spirea, sweet box, and tea olive. A little toffee weaves in and out during the middle before toasted grains and flowers come around again for the close
Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and crisp and clean on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is only my second beer from these folks but like the first, it’s another tasty and well-made one in a style I enjoy. A lot more flavorful than macro versions of the style but keeps its clean and crisp lager roots intact in an easy-drinking package. I’d easily have it again and recommend it as well
