16oz can poured into a Sam Adams glass
A- pours a deep copper/amber color with a one-finger creamy off-white head that has great retention
S- heavy caramel and toffee malty aromas up front, along with toasted bread crust, raisin, some spicy & floral German hops
T- sweet and malty up front with sweet caramel and brown bread crusts. Mid-palate gives some floral and spicy hop notes, as well as raisin and dried fig. The finish is well balanced, with a nice caramel malty linger
M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a creamy but crisp finish
O- well balanced and highly drinkable
