Poured from the can into a pokal style glass.
Pale copper with a nice hinting hue of orange. Slightly faint haze but mostly clear with some nice hints of rising carbonation. Head creation for a light bock seems to be a faint khaki to off white at just a little over a finger.
Aroma is pretty solid. Slightly crisp with a faint caramel toffee and real crackery sweet note. Fairly clean with a bit of gaseous tinge so slightly. Pretty solid and a good baseline.
Palate really makes a good road. Slightly hinting a wet mouthfeel ever so slightly, there was a hint off the pour as it seemed to slap as the liquid hit the glass. Still the base flavors are all there. Light caramel, a real good toasty note of dark bread crust, some herbal bitterness and a solid clean finish. Lingering light toffee and even a touch of cream with a soft base.
Comes off also with a real nice hidden abv light character. Solid simple bock.
