I visited Duality Brewing a couple weeks ago. They have a cozy little taproom, with just a handful of small tables and a bar with just a few seats. The brewhouse is right there next to the taproom, which I always love to see. There's a big outdoor area but it was empty on the chilly rainy night I was there.
There were 6 beers on tap on my visit: an English table beer, a rye helles, pale ale, a nixtamalized wheat saison, and two other saisons. I had the rye helles and the nixtamalized wheat saison, and they were both tasty. The service was very friendly and, while the selection is not large, it's unique and innovative.
There's a kitchen that shares a space with the brewery called Chisme which does interesting takes on Mexican cuisine. I didn't eat anything on my visit, but what was cooking looked good. Duality is definitely on the list to re-visit the next time I'm in Portland.
